About Russell
Russ works with a broad range of private equity clients, investment banks and operating companies. Russ leads teams that reduce risk for investors and identify growth strategies using the full range of Acclaro services including commercial buy-side diligence, sell-side market studies and value creation for portfolio companies.
With nearly three decades of senior management experience, Russ brings a valuable hands-on operating perspective to Acclaro. In addition to progressively challenging assignments at several Fortune 500 companies, Russ was also Managing Director of Atlantic Capital, an M & A boutique in Brazil that focused on cross-border transactions.
Russ’ domain expertise includes but is not limited to consumer and industrial products, business services, SaaS, distribution, and logistics. As a former CEO focused on bottom line performance, Russ helps ensure that Acclaro delivers fact-based, actionable results.
Prior to joining Acclaro, Russ transformed an unprofitable, private equity-owned artisan bakery into a leading branded food company. Russ speaks three languages and has extensive international operating experience in Brazil, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe.
Outside of Acclaro, Russ is an avid underwater photographer, does pro-bono consulting for minority-owned businesses and is a board member at a local not-for-profit focused on food insecurity.
